I went and saw The Passion of the Christ. Heathen/Pagan/Barbarian that I am, I went and saw it. I didn’t like it much…it was bloody, gory, bloody, violent and…did I mention bloody?

Ya know, what was missing from the film for me, was a feeling that Jesus was holy in some way. Perhaps a glimpse into his teachings to show us WHY the people who wanted him crucified felt the way they did..and perhaps WHY the people who followed him were compelled to follow him. All that blood and gore did nothing for me but make me think…eww…
