Harley & Annabelle

There have been questions regarding the photos of Harley & Annabelle on Flickr. Who are these people and so on. I tried to upload my video to Flickr, but it was getting cut off. So I uploaded it to You Tube and that worked! The video and photos don’t do this “Roadside Attraction” justice. You really need to just go to Erick, Oklahoma and meet them yourself. They ARE the attraction, not their building (which used to be the City Meat Market), not all the things they have in the building (road signs, photos, knick-knacks, tchotchkes, stuff and crap) no… THEY are the attraction. They meet you, offer you a beverage and then perform. If you’re lucky you’ll get a tour of their home (we did!). This video is merely a taste of what Harley & Annabelle can do. And they’re on FACEBOOK! And I just found that there is a Harley and Annabelle BLOG!

I’m back at home and I’ve got the pictures off my camera. You can view them all at Flickr That’s a link to the collection of road trip pictures. They’re broken down by travel day, more or less. I’m still trying to catch up on everything. Emails phone call, regular mail, sleep and television. The other night I woke up in my bed and I was so confused as to where I was. Part of me was saying I was home and another part was telling me that’s not your home at all! The weather for the whole trip, no matter where we were was awesome. Right now my weather thingie is telling me it’s 75 degrees but It feels more like it’s 175, there must be like 90% humidity. I just can’t bring myself to turn on the A/C when I’m told it’s 75 outside.

Mabel is very close to forgiving me for being gone. But she’s still laying on me every chance she gets. And she stands in the other room meowing at me.

Now it’s back to the grind…
