To all the shoemakers of the world

I have just one thing to ask you, Why can’t you design shoes that are cute, pretty and do not destroy the feet that wear them?

I mean seriously, is this a DIFFICULT task? I should be able to find lovely dress shoes to wear on special occasions and not have them tear my feet apart creating blood blisters in two places on the same toe. I shouldn’t have to remove my shoes before the evening is over, only to realize I’ll never get them on again. Luckily for all of you I have a beautiful friend who is willing to run up the block to the Walgreens to pick up flip-flops. Honestly though, at that point I would have settled for a pair of house slippers to wear on the journey home.

Please, shoemakers of the world, try designing dress shoes that are cute and yet don’t tear the wearer’s feet to pieces.

STOP THE MADNESS!

It has been confirmed, Hollywood has run out of ideas. Not only is MTV planning to do a remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, WITH NEW SONGS!?! But CBS is planning to remake Hawaii Five-O. and I’m sure you already know that NBC is going to redo Knight Rider
The new fall line up is chock full of American versions of BBC shows, like Eleventh Hour (BBC version starred Patrick Stewart – aka Jean-Luc Picard), Worst Week and Life On Mars. Not to mention the crazy remake of the Australian show Kath & Kim.
What the heck is going on in Hollywood that they can’t create ORIGINAL content? I’m certain there are plenty of new and innovative stories out there that they could make into movies and TV shows without rehashing all of these old things.

For crying out loud, LEAVE THINGS ALONE! Stop remaking everything!!
