Look what the CTA did to me!
I got this bruise while walking toward my seat on the bus. The floor was wet, my shoes were wet, the bus lurched forward driving down the street. My left foot slid out from under me and I bashed into the seats. I didn’t fall on my ass though. But, I’m not sure which I’d prefer, a giant baseball sized bruise on my thigh or the humiliation of falling on my ass.
Book thinning
I need to thin out my collection of books. I have way too many. I’ve found one person to send books to, but I think I may need more people to send them to. I keep going into the bookstore and finding more books to buy, what is wrong with me? Am I addicted to books or something? Is that possible?
I had friends over on Saturday, I planned to give books away. I just realized today that I only got rid of one book. AND…someone brought me TWO MORE! HOW did this happen? My friends are enablers that’s how! You people must STOP ME! Well, next time I see them I hope to have BAGS of books to make them take away. I have no room for all these books and there are stacks of boxes loaded with them!
So…beware my friends…I will be unloading books to all of you.
