For those of you wondering how I managed to bruise my leg so badly, notice the diabolical shape to the CTA turnstiles for the trains. See that pointy piece that sticks out on the left. THAT is where I hit my leg with all the power of my being.
The bruise is now a purple outline with a light beige in the middle. My leg has not yet fallen off, but the Hanta Virus has begun it’s damage in my head. Faucet nose, funnyness in the ears… yeah… the leg will be coming off soon.

Have you ever…

Have you ever known a person only by seeing them every day. Like you never talked to them or had any real interaction but you saw them every day. And then one day you’re somewhere and they are there and you finally get to hear them talk and the voice is TOTALLY not at all what you were expecting? Yeah, that happened to me on Friday. I was at a going away party for someone from work and there was a guy there who I see every day. Never heard him talk, don’t ever work with him in my daily tasks so I never had a voice to go with him… and heard him talking at the party and I was like, dude…what is up with your voice?!? That’s like…not what you’re supposed to sound like.

And I can’t even really explain what was wrong with his voice either. Words just can’t describe it. It is just wrong…totally wrong.
