Seen on the Blue Line

I saw a guy today on the Blue Line who had a comb over and a tail. Why would you do that to yourself? The good part is he didn’t braid that tail at the back of his head, but still. EMBRACE THE BALD, don’t fight it. Bald is FAR sexier than a comb over and those tails went out with parachute pants. I hope, for your sake, you’ve got a friend who is a straight shooter who will tell you to cut your hair, because that is not going to win you any girls….or guys depending on which way you go.

Derailed

I got the movie Derailed last week, finally watched it this weekend. On Friday night, I started it up, I reached a point where this was just too disturbing for me I felt I had to turn it off. I couldn’t take it, there was too much going on, the characters were too stupid and selfish. I just couldn’t watch the downard spiral of their lives and their family’s lives. Then I was told some spoiler information about the movie that made me think, well, knowing that – perhaps I can watch the rest of this movie.
So last night, I put it back in, continued from where I had turned it off before and watched the rest. It still had me a little angry, wondering why the characters were being stupid, but there was a twist there that made me realize they weren’t as stupid as I was thinking. I’m not sure if I’d recommend this to anyone else. But it was OK. If there’s nothing else on and you can’t find anything better at the video store, go ahead, get Derailed. If anything, just to stare at hunky Clive Owen.
