Yo Master D’s Toy
I got to play with Yo Master D’s camera over the weekend. I finally got the pictures off the camera too. Naturally all the pictures I took were of the animals in the house. I didn’t think pictures of a bathtub that needs scrubbing or dishes that need to be washed would be appropriate subjects for a camera of this caliber. So, yeah, the pets had to endure a day full of picture taking. My favorites are in the group at flickr.
Damned Kids!
I’ve become one of “those” adults. You know, the cranky old person across the street who only yells at the kids on the block. The other day I came home and the kids from across the street were standing in my front yard, playing catch across the street into their yard. As I pulled up I thought, “Where is there mother? My Mom would NEVER let us do that. My Father would scream at us to get out of the neighbor’s yard. That’s what back yards are for!” My second thought was, “Damned kids, get out of my yard!” And my final thought was, “those kids are frakkin lucky they can catch and throw, cuz if they break my windows……..I’ll meet their mother!”
And as soon as I pulled into the driveway Mom showed up, “Get over here you!” she shouted to the kids. “How many times have I told to stay in OUR yard!”
I waved and went inside……got to at least be civil. I don’t have enough cats yet to be the crotchety old cat lady.
