Huzzah!
I won the second quarter in the Superbowl Squares…GO ME!! I was screaming at the TV hoping Seattle wouldn’t get a touchdown that quarter. I’ve never been so involved in football before. When I last did the squares, I didn’t even bother to watch.
Also, I got email today from Axl Rose & Portia De Rossi…Apparently they’ve joined Barry Manilow in the software sales business. Is showbiz paying less these days?
Brush with Fame
I got an email today from Barry Manilow…he wanted me to buy some Adobe/Windows/etc software. I had no idea Barry had gone into software sales, nor do I have any idea how he got my email address. But there it was, sorted into the Spam folder. I don’t know if I should be honored or annoyed that Barry contacted me.
In other news:
I have the 3/7 square for the Superbowl pool. 3 for Seattle 7 for Pittsburgh. I’m not sure if it’s a good square or just a mediocre square but it is mine and only cost me $5. The last squares thing I did I won half time AND the 3rd quarter.
I am a GENIUS! I was asked to try to extract data from our not totally complete database and export it into Excel. And I did! So for not being able to print just the information I want, and yet being able to sort out how to export only what I want I think I’m quite clever and resourceful. If only the others here had any idea the enormity of my geniusness with what I have just accomplished, I probably would be treated a lot better than I currently am. Perhaps they’d even buy me lunch? Eh…probably not.
I need a new project…but I don’t know what I want to make. Maybe I should get some kind of afghan working for the Katrina Relief effort or perhaps I should go back to that sweater I started? Cuz…yeah, it’s been abandoned for a while now.
