All is well
For anyone who remembers that the boy works for LaSalle Bank, yes he is fine after The Fire. He USED to work in that building, but they built a fabulous new one at Madison and Canal and that’s where he is now.
As we watched the local coverage all night (instead of Monday Night Football) his phone kept ringing with people from work discussing what is to be done regarding the servers and computer stuff there. He left for work this morning around 4am.
So yes, the boy is fine, he was not in the towering inferno, he was involved in the reported fire drill a few months ago when he had to go to the old building for some meeting or something. All is well, he’s fine, I’m fine. He’s just got a whole lot of work on his hands now.
