What I learned this weekend

So I saw the movie Big Fish this weekend. It stars Billy Crudup of Almost Famous fame. Well…in the beginning of the film Billy does this voice over giving some background and I’m sitting there thinking….damn he sounds like the Master Card commerical guy…then I realize HE IS the Master Card commercial guy! He’s the one who says “new shoes $50, Leash for dog $10, keeping dog away from new shoes…Priceless. For everything else there’s Master Card.”

So I’m so distracted at the beginning of the movie because I finally have a face for the voice of the Master Card commercial guy.

But in the end the movie was good, once I got over my discovery and was able to pay attention. I think you should all go see it. But be prepared for a near weepy ending…

Why I’m disgruntled

OK, this is one example of why I’m so annoyed with bosslady, MKK. I was on vacation 2 weeks ago. She gets a call from a client who’s upset cuz we didn’t tell them of a rate increase at a paper in thier stupid form system of answering 80 questions. So she calls the paper gets the info to answer the questions and then waits until TUESDAY OF THIS WEEK to get ME to do it. She had everything she needed to do it herself, but did she do that?!? NO NO NO!! I had to do it for her. And this is the type of thing she does ALL THE TIME. She can’t do anything herself, she makes everyone else do it. So in the end our CLIENT had to wait 2 weeks to get the email that she could have done that SAME DAY she got the fax from the paper.
