Vegas
So I won NOTHING while in Vegas. I did however, manage to come home with a lovely little bag of “snack mix” that has the Delta Airlines logo on it. I got to spend an extra two hours in Salt Lake City. And I took that time to finally get a good picture of some mountains. Once I have made the pictures a bearable size I’ll post them here. A very nice man sat next to me on the plane home. He shared his cashews with me. I shared my Swedish Fish with him. I tried to sleep, but that just wasn’t working for me. I finished off my book and pondered starting the next one but decided against it. For the longest time it was just black outside the window. I wondered when I’d see the lights of the city since they had announced we were about to land. Then suddenly, the lights appeared out of no where… the cloud cover over the city (since it had been storming) was so great that it blocked out all the lights until we were under the clouds and landing. It was really neat.
