I&#8217;m up at 6am and I don&#8217;t get home until after 7:30pm. I&#8217;m still exploring routes home to avoid the parking lot that I-94 usually becomes every day. Getting out of work early is useless, because traffic is 10x worse at 5pm. But I like all the people there and I&#8217;m catching on quickly. Once I can suss out a good system I think things will flow better.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been enjoying the BBC America show <a href=\"&quot;http:\/\/www.bbcamerica.com\/content\/370\/index.jsp\" target=\"_blank\">Survivors<\/a>. It&#8217;s a really great show, such a commentary on how important community is for us and how people may react to the idea of the end of the world. It&#8217;s also just a really great drama. Last night I watched the documentary Food Inc.\u00a0 Watching that made me think the only way to fix things in this world is either have a global pandemic wiping out 90% of the world&#8217;s population or a zombie invasion.<\/p>\n<p>Upon logging in to my Dish Network account to sign up again for automatic bill pay, I discovered that I have Comcast Sports Net. That means I can now watch ALL the Blackhawk games! I&#8217;m so excited! But also, I get 3 free months of HBO and Showtime too. Now if only I had a lot of free time to watch all of this stuff.<\/p>\n<p>I recently discovered that my Chucks were crushing my toes because I had the laces pulled too tight. Now that I&#8217;ve loosened them, they feel so much better. I feel pretty stupid now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new job has been keeping me very very busy.
