So I get this email telling me that “Someone got you a date” so on a whim since I see that there is no nasty attachment with it, I open it wondering who would have gotten me a date seeing as how I don’t really need one anymore, I’ve got a steady cute boy in my life I don’t need another one, this one is more than enough… (why don’t you tell me your FEEEELINGS?) Also I get this email from Howard Dean’s campaign asking me to sign up for some rally in Milwaukee.<\/a> Look, Dude, if you need help with the Wisconsin Primary, I’m not your girl… I live in Chicago, that’s a whole OTHER STATE… NOT Wisconisn…<\/p>\n Then the folks at Moveon.org want me to help them with a petition to Censure Bush so I said, OK… I’ll sign that Online Petition<\/a>. I swear, I hadn’t written to my government officials ever until I discovered the Moveon.org people. And the cool thing is that my senators and stuff REPLY to me. Yup I get letters in the mail from my polititicans saying, “thanks for writing to me” You should try it too!<\/p>\n But the best thing in my inbox was the Join Me Newsletter<\/a>. It’s from this British Comedian dude named Danny, and he’s trying to start a movement of niceness. He’s doing well in England and Australia. He’s working on coming to America at the end of this month. All members promise a random act of kindness on Friday. And here’s the link to his book<\/a>. So it’s good to know people are still being nice out there. I see there’s this link for http:\/\/searchingforasoulmate.com with some cofirm thing at the end and numbers…ya know, the usual thing that sends them some kind of thing telling them yours is a real email address and they should send you more crap. Well, I go to google type in “searching for a soul mate”<\/a> and this place doesn’t show up, only like wicca websites show up for that kinda thing…
