Bored with the lack of good stuff to watch on television (and we&#8217;ve got a LOT of channels&#8230;every single one you could ask for) bored with surfing the web&#8230; Just plain old bored.<\/p>\n<p>This morning I paused for breakfast and the scene could really have used a digital camera. I sat outside the Dunkin Donuts and ate a muffin. I quite suddenly found myself surrounded by birds&#8230;not pigeons mind you but little birds&#8230;dunno what kind they were. One bird even was so daring as to land on the table in front of me and stare me in the face. Now, when I eat a muffin I tend to spread crumbs everywhere, so I became these birds&#8217; best friend in the whole world. It was as if I had a dozen hungry Bijous staring me in the face waiting for me to open the can of cat food, or tuna or bag of Doritos. It was the funniest thing I had ever seen, I really wish I could have taken a picture to share.<\/p>\n<p>On another note, the bus ride from the train station to the office takes me past a parking lot full of &#8220;Gotham City Police&#8221; cars&#8230;and &#8220;Gotham City SWAT&#8221; trucks. I just want to know&#8230; are they REALLY filming Batman in Chicago? Has anyone heard anything?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yawn&#8230; I&#8217;m so bored.
