I just had a phone interview with a rather large company. I bombed it. I was not prepared. I can&#8217;t schmooze the way they expected to be schmoozed. They&#8217;re like, &#8220;why did you pick our company?&#8221; and I&#8217;m like&#8230;&#8221;Cuz you had a job listing.&#8221;  No, it&#8217;s not because I think you&#8217;re company is &#8220;FABULOUS&#8221; I barely know anything about you. I just sucked, didn&#8217;t ask enough questions, didn&#8217;t have the answers they were looking for. I&#8217;m not getting that job. I&#8217;m trapped here in a job that&#8217;s a step down from what I used to do but getting more money.
