The Vatican<\/b><\/p>\n
So there’s all this hoo-haa<\/a> about<\/a> the Vatican<\/a> and their witch hunt<\/a> for homosexuals in their seminaries etc. I don’t get why there’s all this disucssion. Homosexuality is against the church laws. They consider the practice a sin. According to the Vactican to be a homosexual is morally reprehensible and a mortal sin, so why does it seem everyone is shocked over what they’re doing?<\/p>\n I don’t agree with them, which is why I’m no longer Catholic. I don’t agree with a lot of what they preach so I’ve decided not to be a part of their group. But I’m not going to tell them what they can and can not do within their organization. And for people to get all upset that the Vactican is “weeding out” the homosexuals is fruitless cuz none of the cardinals, archbishops or the Pope are going to change their views on homosexuality in our lifetime. If they wont change their minds about allowing priests to be married so that they can get more priests, they’re certainly not going to change their minds about letting priests be gay.<\/p>\n Why are they weeding out the gays if not to point out what a sin it is to be homosexual? Naturally they think that being gay means you’re going to molest children, because only sick and twisted people are gay so obviously they’re the only ones who are molesting children. So if they get rid of the homosexuals who are priests or trying to become priests that’ll solve all the scandal problems…don’t even investigate the possiblity that celibacy might have something to do with it. Perhaps they should research the subject of homosexuality and molestation<\/a> and then perhaps they’d know that the empirical research shows that gay or bisexual men are NOT<\/b> any more likely than heterosexual men to molest children.<\/i> <\/p>\n They should fund some studies and find out what kind of man is more likely to molest children and find ways to weed out those guys and get them the help they really need. The Catholic church and all it’s might and money should be doing something GOOD<\/b> for society and not harboring the guys who are doing the molestation keeping them from the hands of justice.
