I’m hoping that between today & tomorrow you can catch up on handling tears. The procedure is: look at them for errors of content, bad reproduction, items cut off; arrange so that folded sides line up; position cover sheet flush with left side; staple; initial in lower left-hand corner.

So like…I’ve worked here for 8 years…Obviously I have no idea how to check tearsheets or what I’m looking for. Then, ya know, if I break from the “sacrament of the way things are always done” there will indeed be hell to pay. Heaven forbid I staple this shit on the RIGHT HAND SIDE…or maybe I become a rebel and just staple it in THE MIDDLE!
But yeah, this is the kind of anal retentive crap I have to put up with on a daily basis… I live for this shit. But on the bright side…it does allow for mucho web surfing while still looking busy…cuz ya know, I’m SO NOT really looking at these tearsheets, I’m just stapling them and stacking them…
