Things around the house
My 4 o’clocks are blooming. I’m very excited. My parents had planted 4 o’clocks but they only got the hot pink/magenta ones. I’ve managed to get some yellow and light pink ones to grow. If I can find the packet of seeds I’ll plant more.
In other news…
Sam‘s poncho is complete! After running out of the sage yarn just in time to do the final edging (collar and bottom) I thought rather than buying more sage, why not use a highlight color or maybe even some of the fun fur… But after consulting Sam she said no fur. So I then talked with Ms. K to see what color would be best with the sage, and she said exactly what I had been thinking, use something beige or cream colored. So I picked up some cream yarn for the collar and bottom edging. I think it looks good. And since Sam is coming this weekend to visit we’ll get pictures of her in the poncho!
