I had a doll as a kid, her name was Tuesday Taylor. Her gimmick was that she could have blond or brown hair just by swiveling her scalp. The problem with Tuesday’s hair was that it never looked right when I’d swivel her scalp to brown. The hair wasn’t put in right and it never laid properly. You couldn’t comb it back to where it would look like she was a brunette. It looked like her scalp was on backward. So she ended up being the doll with blond hair on top and brown hair underneath…just like the woman on the train in front of me today.
