Name change should stop the snickers

Fuk King Kwok was waiting for his driver’s license to be printed when his name was called and a chuckling Illinois secretary of state employee offered some advice.

“She [said] this is a dangerous name,” the Chinese immigrant recalled. “She [said] the name translated is not so good, maybe I should change [it]. The word I hear is not so good.”

Monica Pinas and Mary Jo Porn also elected to have their names changed. Mary Jo did so because she got divorced…Monica changed hers because of mispronunciation issues. Also, Michael Heard became Godlordkingchrist Heard, but he wouldn’t talk to the reporter…how sad.

It HAS to be Pandemic Flu

So the week of Thanksgiving I got a cold… my ears felt funny my throat was scratchy, I had the faucet nose. I was terrified it’d end up as the usual bronchitis but I was saved from that. However, the faucet nose hasn’t really stopped. It’s gone down to a drip…that post nasal drip…that totally sucks. Last week my throat was all scratchy and my ears were feeling funny. I went to the Doc to see what she could do. Unfortunatly, I’m not officially “sick” as in, no virus, no bacterial infection…It’s like allergies, but not. She gave me Flonase to help with the constant drip. But that’s all she could do. Last night, the annoying coughing began. It isn’t a “productive” cough at all, it’s a cough that just leaves your throat sore and dry and scratchy. So most of the night, as I was trying to sleep I kept coughing and nothing would stop it. I need this to go away… I can’t take anymore of this!
